Revised Statues - Chapter 21 Corporations
21-329: Paid-up capital stock, defined.
For purposes of Chapter 21, article 3, the term paid-up capital stock shall mean, at any particular time, the sum of the par value of all shares of the corporation that have been issued, and such amounts not included in such par value as have been transferred to stated capital of the corporation, whether upon the issue of shares as a share dividend or otherwise, minus all reductions from such sum as have been effected in a manner permitted by law.
