Each foreign corporation for profit, doing business in this state, owning or using a part or all of its capital or plant in this state, and subject to compliance with all other provisions of law shall, in addition to all other statements required by law, make an annual report in writing, to the Secretary of State, as of January 1, in such form as the Secretary of State may prescribe. The report shall be signed by one of the following: The president, a vice president, a secretary or a treasurer of the corporation, and forwarded to the Secretary of State on or before

(1) August 1, 1982, or

(2) April 15, 1983, and April 15 of each year thereafter.
